This December, let us introduce you to some of the amaing women riders who, with great pride, are part of our group.

Countdown to Christmas on Facebook

This is Helga, my new bike. Only a week old. I’ve been riding for 30 yrs but had a few years off when the kids were young. I’m 61 now so have downsized from an 800 to a 500 as the 800 was getting too heavy for me to manoeuvre. I’d rather downsize than stop riding. I love the freedom of riding and I love the camaraderie of the biker community. I love group ride outs. This year I’ve done the NC500 in a group and also been on a biking holiday in Spain.

This is Rags.. my newest ever vehicle… Pre the exhaust change.
Been riding since 2011. It is my mental health support and hopefully will be getting back on the bikes soon
Got taken off my sk in June and broke my arm and leg but have no desire to give up riding

I’m Naomi. I had a 50cc Honda when I was 16, but my now ex husband convinced me to sell it and move to Derbyshire, telling me I could get a replacement when I’d moved. That didn’t happen, it was his was to stop me having any independence. I decided to get myself a bike and bike license when I was 40. 12 years and 10 bikes later I now have HD Sportster 48, triumph Bonneville and Kawasaki z650 and ride whenever I can

This Is Gypsy Rose. She is a 2016 Harley Davidson Sportster XL1200C. When I bought her she was green and Black but my Clever OH painted her for me.
I have been riding on and off for 43 years passing my test at 17. I started on a little 50cc Suzuki Suzy step through Moped. Dad made me do the old RAC/ACU course. The lessons I learnt there have stayed with me and still help to keep me safe now.
Over the years I have ridden a Yamaha RD125DX, Yamaha RD250DX a Suzuki 250Ltd, Kawasaki Zephyr 550, Yamaha Majesty 400, Kawasaki EN500 and Now my Harley. My Dad started me off on my Biking journey and I always dreamed of owning a Harley. Dad hated them but quite liked mine. Sadly he passed away from Dementia before he got to see her in her new livery. I have had a couple of rides on my OHs Harley Fat Bob but it is not as nimble as the Sporty and quite heavy.
I hope to be riding for many more years to come
